Stockport Town is an English football club based in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Formed in 2014, they were admitted to the North West Counties Football League in 2015 and will play in Division One from the start of the 2015–16 season.[1]
History
Stockport Town FC were established in February 2014. The club joined the North West Counties Football League Division One for the 2015–16 season.
Stadium
Stockport Town FC play at Stockport Sports Village, Woodley, on the 3G pitch. The Stadium has a capacity of 2,384 spectators which includes 192 seats. The stadium previously hosted Stockport Sports before the club folded in 2015.
