Stradford International College is a private college located in Perai, Penang.[2] Previously, it was known as Silicon Institute of Technology until end of 2014, when the Malaysian Ministry of Education announced its upgrade to College status.[3] This college have 2 campuses, Perai (Main Campus) and in Gelugor, Penang Island.Stradford courses covers business, computing, and engineering.[4] Stradford also offers programmes affiliated with University College Birmingham,[5] HELEX, Hall of English Language Examination and University of Cambridge.
History
Stradford International College, formerly known as Silicon Institute of Technology was founded and established by a team of professionals and experts in 1987. In 2014, it was granted the college status.
