Streamline Tower
Streamline Tower is a 21-story luxury condominium tower in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. Streamline Tower is on Las Vegas Boulevard one block north of Fremont. It is the only high-rise in the Entertainment District and was hoped would become the prestige address in the newly redeveloped downtown.
Streamline Tower is a $200 million high-rise condominium project. The contractor is Martin-Harris Construction. The architect is PGAL. The Owner's Representative is Rider Levett Bucknall. Streamline Tower is located at 150 Las Vegas Boulevard. It will have 12,000 square feet (1,100 m2) of mixed-use retail on the main floor and 275 residences. Typically residences are priced from the low-$400,000s to more than $1.4 million and residence sizes range from 800 square feet (74 m2) up to 2,000 square feet (200 m2).
The tower opened May 1, 2008, but has had trouble trying to sell its units. Now Streamline Tower is facing a federal lawsuit from 48 buyers who claim the condos they purchased are smaller than advertised, and that Streamline falsely promised that buyers could make money by placing their units in an “executive leasing program” to be rented out like hotel rooms.[1]
