The suspended congress is a sex position usually portrayed in pornography. The position is done when:

The male lifts his female partner off her feet.
The woman wraps her arms around her partner's neck.
The man grabs her on her buttocks^[1] and penetrates her by her vagina (or anus), usually a wall is used for support.

Art and film

Many erotic art and porn videos depict this position. Suspended congress gained notoriety in the movie Road House starring Patrick Swayze, which also lends to the position also being known by the title "Road House". The position is sometimes dangerous if the female is not supported correctly.
