Szeroki Bór Piski [ʂɛˈrɔki ˈbur ˈpiski] (German: Breitenheide)[1] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Pisz, within Pisz County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of Pisz and 81 km (50 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia), throughout World War II the Oberkommando der Luftwaffe (Air Force High Command) was temporarily located in Breitenheide.[3]
