Tairāwhiti

Te Hui Amorangi O Te Tai Rawhiti is an Episcopal polity (or Diocese) of Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia. The Hui Amorangi covers the East Coast of the North Island. In general this covers the Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Kahungunu and the Turanga-nui-a-kiwa iwi. According to the 2001 census there are approximately 11000 Māori Anglicans within this area. Te Tai Rawhiti is one of 5 Hui Amorangi (episcopal units) that comprise Te Pihopatanga o Aotearoa, the Māori Anglican Church in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

The Bishop of Te Tai Rawhiti is The Most Reverend William Brown Turei, LTh, LTh (Aot), who is also Te Pihopa o Aotearoa (Head of the Māori Anglican Church or Te Pihopatanga o Aotearoa) and Archbishop of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa-New Zealand and Polynesia.

The Amorangi Administrator is Andrew Tamihere, in charge of all Amorangi administration, fiscal performance, and general management for the Tairawhiti Trust Board.

Each of the Rohe in Tairawhiti is led by a senior priest known as a Minita-a-Rohe. They are as follows:

Rev Don Tamihere is the Kaihautu (Principal) of Te Rau Theological College, the official diocesan training centre for laity and clergy. Te Rau College also offers a Diploma in Anglican Studies in conjunction with the College of St. John the Evangelist.

Ruihana Paenga and Rev Christopher Douglas-Huriwai are the diocesan Youth Enablers coordinating youth ministry from Wharekahika in the North, to Woodville in the South.

Te Hui Amorangi has a Trust Board which oversees its land, buildings, and assets. Members are as follows:
