Tawaramachi Station (田原町駅 Tawaramachi-eki) is a railway station on the Fukui Railway Fukubu and Echizen Railway Mikuni Awara lines located in Fukui, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.
Services
Fukui Railway
All Fukubu Line trains serve Tawaramachi station. There is a single platform; all trains on the line terminate here. The station is unstaffed.
Echizen Railway
All Mikuni Awara Line trains stop at this staffed station. There is a single platform serving a single track. The station was renovated after the Keifuku Electric Railroad Company relinquished the station.
Surrounding area
Tawaramachi Station is just to the west of Phoenix-dōri (Prefectural Route 30). Since the University of Fukui's Bunkyō Campus, Hokuriku High School, Fujishima High School and many other educational institutions are located in the vicinity, students are a common sight in mornings and evenings.

History
- April 1, 1937: Mikuni Awara Electric Railway station opens
- September 1, 1942: Mikuni Awara Electric Railway merges with Keifuku Electric Railroad Company
- April 20, 1944: Operations ceased, station closed
- November 27, 1950: Fukui Railway Fukubu Line station opens; Keifuku Electric Railroad station reopens
- June 25, 2001: Keifuku Electric Railroad station closed
- July 20, 2003: Mikuni Awara Line station reopens as a part of Echizen Railway
- March - April, 2006: Fukui Railway station platform height lowered
