Shin-Fukui Station (新福井駅 Shin-fukui-eki) is an Echizen Railway Katsuyama Eiheiji Line (also Mikuni Awara Line) railway station located in Fukui, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.
Station
All Katsuyama Eiheiji Line and Mikuni Awara Line trains serve Shin-Fukui Station. The station is temporarily located on the Hokuriku Shinkansen viaduct from September 27, 2015. There are two side platforms with two tracks. Trains bound for Eiheijiguchi, Katsuyama and the Mikuni Awara Line use platform 1, while trains bound for Fukui use Platform 2.[1] The station is unstaffed.

Until the relocation in 2015, there were two tracks serving a single island platform. Trains bound for Fukui used platform 1, while trains bound for Eiheijiguchi, Katsuyama and the Mikuni Awara Line used Platform 2.
Surrounding area
- The station is in the middle of central Fukui on the east side of the JR Hokuriku Main Line tracks.
- The Fukui regional government office complex is nearby; it has offices for national government agencies, including the Statistics Bureau and the MAFF Fukui office.

History
- February 11, 1914: Station opens.
- September 21, 1929: Shin-Fukui — Fukui section opens.
- March 23, 1997: Station moved to present location due to JR Fukui Station grade separation project.
- June 25, 2001: Operations halted due to accident on the Echizen Main Line.
- July 20, 2003: Station reopens as an Echizen Railway station.
- September 27, 2015: Station moves to temporary facilities.[1]
