2 | ■ Kashihara Line | for Hirahata, Yamato-Saidaiji and Kyoto Change trains at Hirahata for Tenri, and at Yamato-Saidaiji for Nara, Osaka Namba, Amagasaki and Kobe (Sannomiya) (via Ikoma) |
History
- 1923 - The station opened as Osaka Electric Rail Tawaramoto Station.
- 1941 - Daiki merged with Sangu Kyuko Electric Railway, and becomes Kansai Kyuko Electric Railway.
- 1944 - Kankyu merged Nankai Railway and became Kintetsu, changing the station was renamed Kinki Nihppn Tawaramoto Station.
- 1964 - Kinki Nippon Tawaramoto Station was renamed the current name.
- 1990 - Station house renovation complete. Because of this the crosswalk was removed and the platform expands.
- 1992 - Automatic ticket checker and dispenser was installed.
- 2007 - Starts using PiTaPa.
- 2009 - West entrance was built.
