Teen Angels (or TeenAngels) is an Argentine pop band formed during the development of Cris Morena Group's series Casi Ángeles (2007–2010). The band featured five members — Lali Espósito (Marianela Rinaldi), Gastón Dalmau (Ramiro Ordóñez), Peter Lanzani (Thiago Bedoya Agüero), Nico Riera (Juan Morales) and Eugenia Suárez (Jazmín Romero). By the end of the 4th and last season of Casi Angeles, when the band was about to start its 2011 World Tour, Eugenia Suárez left the band and was replaced by Rocio Igarzabal, who portrayed Valeria Gutierréz in the TV series.

Other cast members who recorded songs for albums include Emilia Attias (Angeles Inchausti / Paz Inchausti-Bauer), Nicolás Vázquez (Nicolás Bauer) and Pablo Martínez (Simón Bruno Arrechavaleta).

Teen Angels have spawned 4 studio albums, 3 live albums (from live theatre shows), one special album for Coca Cola, one studio album in Spain with remixed songs, and another in Israel. In the series´ last season, a CD+DVD edition was released gathering all their best songs and videos. Teen Angels 2007 was the 12th best selling album in Argentina in 2007, while Teen Angels 2008 was the 3rd in 2008.[1] Teen Angels 2007 and Teen Angels 2009 were certified Platinum,[2] while Teen Angels 2 earned double Platinum certification.[2]

Singles

Other original songs

In the middle of the second season, a rival band, called ¡Man!, their music style is pop-rock and is formed: it included Simón (Pablo Martínez), Nacho (Agustin Sierra), Vale (Rocío Igarzabal), Tefy (Candela Vetrano) and Melody (María del Cerro). ¡Man! had two singles which were not included in any album: Dieciseis and ¿Lobo Estas?. Luca (Victorio D'Alessandro) is sometimes included in this band, but in the original band he is not a member of ¡Man!

The song, sang by Emilia Attias, was used during the second season and also on the live musical Teatro Gran Rex. It is included in the live CD released in 2008.

This song was never played live and was not included in any of the CDs but was played during the TV broadcast of the second season. It was performed by the Teen Angels. Although it was used a lot as background music in the second season, it was not included in any CD and was not presented live.

The original version of the song, which was played in the first months of the second season. It had a completely different chorus than the version used on the CD (which used the chorus of Vivir a Pleno). On the CD, most of the second season (with the exception of the first few months), the DVD and in all live performances (with the exception of the Punta del Este concert in the beginning of 2008, where the song was first heard), the album version, which had the chorus of Vivir a Pleno instead of the original one was used.

The song, performed by Teen Angels, was played in the first episodes of the second season as background music. The chorus of the song was used in the album version of Un Paso and in all live concerts. The song is not included in any of the CDs or DVDs and, after episode 30, was rarely used in the show again.

In the last part of the second season, a new band, Man, was formed with cast members Rocio Igarzabal, Maria del Cero, Candela Vetrano, Pablo Martinez and Agustin Sierra. 16 was their first single which was played lots of times during the show and also on the live national tour (although not at the Buenos Aires concerts). It is not included in any CD.

The second single of Man. It was performed several times during the show and also on the live tour (although not at the Buenos Aires concerts). It was also used in the third season. It's not included in any CD or DVD.

This song was a parody of Nena which was sung by Mariana Esposito to Juan Pedro Lanzani, which is the interpret of the original version.

This medley, performed by Juan Pedro Lanzani and Mariana Esposito, was played several times during the second season.

A techno version of the Casi Angeles song was presented the first time during the live presentation of the second season in Luna Park stadium. Later, it was used in the show and also performed live by the Teen Angels in Gran Rex and on the live tour. While the vocals in the original version were mostly done by Emilia Attias, this version was sung by the Teen Angels. The original version of the song was only performed in 2007, in all subsequent presentations during 2008 and 2009, the techno version was used. It's included on the live CD and on the live DVD.

While the original version of Tan Alegre el Corazon was mostly sung by Emilia Attias, this new version is performed by the Teen Angels. It was used during the second season, the national live tour, the 2009 Teatro Gran Rex concerts and several times on the second and third season (most notably in the second season finale).

Coca Cola summer anthem, performed by the Teen Angels. It was performed several times during their 2009 summer concerts and also in the Teatro Gran Rex 2009 concerts.

This song was first used on the third season episode where Rama (Gaston Dalmau) goes blind. In the show, the song is performed by him while in the 2009 Teatro Gran Rex concerts are sung by Emilia Attias and Mariano de la Torre in duet.

Performed by Benjamin Amadeo and used during the third season and also on the live 2009 performances.

This sons was used on the fourth season, episode 57, "The Creative Revolution, Part 2". In the show, the song is performed by the members of "The Resistance".
