Console game

It has since been revealed that the video game adaptation of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader produced by Nihilistic Software was cancelled when Walt Disney Pictures (and therefore Disney Interactive) left the Narnia project in late 2008/early 2009. [1]

Mobile game

Plot summary

The player sails into Narnia through his mobile phone and explores the world’s seas and islands.[2] As King Caspian, Edmund, or Lucy, he’ll encounter sea monsters and dragons in epic battles. Loosely based on the movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the game also shares some sequences with the original book. The game is set as a journey to the Aslan's country and than back to England.

Gameplay

The player is allowed to become one of the film's three main characters: King Caspian, Lucy and Edmund.[3] The gameplay switches from sailing and escaping the Sea Monster to battling the pirates, mercenaries and other enemies on the islands of Dufflepuds, Goldwater and others. The game is filled with dialogues from either film and the original book and contains prologues to each level.
