The Coats of Claude is the seventy-fifth studio album by guitarist Buckethead, and the forty-fifth installment of the Buckethead Pikes Series.[1]

The album was released as a digital version on January 17.[2] Along with the digital version, two limited edition formats were announced to be released on February 7. The first format consists of 300 copies of an untitled white album signed by Buckethead himself. The second version consists of an unspecified amount of copies of an untitled white album with hand drawn covers and signed by Buckethead himself. The second version was only offered until January 24 while the first version lasted until copies sold out.

A standard edition was announced but has not yet been released.

The album is speculated to be dedicated to Claude Coats - an American artist, animator and set designer, known for his work with the Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering.
