The Common is a parkland suburb of Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia situated about 500 metres east of the central business district.[2] In the 2011 census, The Common had a population of 0 people.[1]

History

The former North Rockhampton railway station, the terminus of the North Rockhampton to Emu Park railway line, was in The Common. The railway allowed Rockhampton people easy access to seaside recreation.[3]

Amenities

The Common is the location of the Cyril Connell Touch Fields, Rockhampton Cricket Club and Callaghan Race Park.
