The Henry Lawson Festival

The Henry Lawson Festival is an arts festival held annually on the June long weekend in Grenfell, New South Wales, a town in the central west New South Wales, Australiathe birthplace of Henry Lawson.

First held in 1958 and continuing since then,[1] the festival is now one of Australia's longest running. The festival features an array of exhibitions including art, photography, porcelain, poetry, verse and short story. A street carnival and procession is held on the Saturday with music, busking, street markets, children's rides and entertainment. A car show is held in the lower end of the main street on the Sunday.
