The Story of Us is a 2016 Philippine romantic melodrama television series directed by Richard Somes, starring Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, together with an ensemble cast.[1][2][3] The series premiered on ABS-CBN and worldwide on The Filipino Channel on February 29, 2016,[4] replacing On the Wings of Love.
Plot
Macoy Sandoval (Xian Lim) and Tin Manalo (Kim Chiu) are childhood best friends-turned lovers who grew up together in El Nido, Palawan and dreamt of a better life for them and their family. However, circumstances will drive them apart when Tin goes to the U.S. to meet her estranged mother (Zsa Zsa Padilla). Separated from each other, they are forced to make it on their own, driving them further apart until their relationship crumbles.
