The Three-Body Problem (Chinese: 三体) is an upcoming Chinese science fiction film based on the novel The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin, directed by Panpan Zhang and starring Feng Shaofeng and Zhang Jingchu. The film is scheduled to be released in July 2016[1][2][3] in 3D.[4]

The film has a budget of CN¥200 million.[3] Filming began in March 2015 in Heilongjiang, produced by Yoozoo Film established in 2014 by Lin Qi.[5]
