Content

Each issue's cover profile spotlights a different nation with an in-depth ambassador interview, discussing politics, business and relations with the United States. Over the past 20 years, the Diplomat has profiled hundreds of ambassadors from across the globe. The Diplomat also regularly interviews other top-level U.S. officials and global policymakers and offers timely analysis of international relations, politics, trade, U.S. foreign policy, diplomacy, law, media and other current topics.

Regular features include monthly "People of World Influence" and medical columns; profiles of governmental institutions; the United Nations and various other global organizations; as well as regular reports on topics such as education and finance. In addition, special sections are scheduled throughout the year, covering the latest developments in the hotel, travel, automotive and real estate industries.

The Washington Diplomatt's culture section highlights international events taking place around D.C., with reviews of embassy events, museum exhibits, theater, opera, galas and a wide range of other cultural offerings, as well as monthly dining and film reviews — including the largest directory of foreign films and internationally geared cultural events in the city. The Spotlight section highlights photos from embassy receptions, galas and other events in D.C.
