Thom Mathews (born November 28, 1958) in Los Angeles, California is an actor who is perhaps best known for his appearance in the horror films Return of the Living Dead, Return of the Living Dead Part II and Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives.
Career
Mathews began his acting career in the early 1980s as a model and commercial actor, starring in national commercials for Le Tigre Clothing, Sprite and Tostitos. His first major role was 'Freddy' in the cult classic The Return of the Living Dead. Mathews has been referred to as the 'Paul Newman of horror flicks".[1] Mathews has starred in eleven Albert Pyun films.
He went on to star in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives being the 3rd actor to portray Tommy Jarvis after Corey Feldman and John Shepherd.
Mathews now co-owns a construction company, Hammer and Trowel. Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne hired his company to remodel their home during the filming of their reality show on MTV, The Osbournes.[2]
Personal life
On May 10, 2014, Thom Mathews married Karla Jensen in Los Cabos, Mexico.[3]
