Timberlane is a village in Boone County, Illinois, United States. It is part of the Rockford, Illinois Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 934 at the 2010 census, up from 234 in 2000.
Geography
Timberlane is located at 42°19′56″N 88°51′26″W / 42.33222°N 88.85722°W (42.332313, -88.857270).[1]
According to the 2010 census, Timberlane has a total area of 1.769 square miles (4.58 km2), of which 1.75 square miles (4.53 km2) (or 98.93%) is land and 0.019 square miles (0.05 km2) (or 1.07%) is water.[2]

As of the census[5] of 2000, there were 234 people, 79 households, and 69 families residing in the village. The population density was 180.7 people per square mile (70.0/km²). There were 80 housing units at an average density of 61.8 per square mile (23.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.29% White, 0.43% Native American, 1.28% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.71% of the population.
There were 79 households out of which 45.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 84.8% were married couples living together, 1.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 11.4% were non-families. 7.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.96 and the average family size was 3.16.
In the village the population was spread out with 28.6% under the age of 18, 5.1% from 18 to 24, 26.1% from 25 to 44, 34.6% from 45 to 64, and 5.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 98.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 106.2 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $76,851, and the median income for a family was $78,319. Males had a median income of $58,125 versus $35,000 for females. The per capita income for the village was $31,529. About 4.6% of families and 6.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 9.4% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those sixty five or over.
