Timebomb (Tove Lo song)
"Timebomb" is a song by Swedish singer and songwriter Tove Lo from her debut studio album, Queen of the Clouds (2014). Initially released as a promotional single,[1] the song was released as the third single from the album.[2] However, its release at US contemporary hit radio was cancelled.[3]
Music video
On 18 June 2015 the official lyric video was uploaded to her Vevo account. The lyric video shows two people "naked" hugging and touching each other's bodies, while the lyrics are shown on their skin. The lyric video was directed by Bror Bror.[4] On 19 June 2015, a preview for the music video was uploaded to Tove Lo's Facebook page and giving the date of release for the music video, "#TIMEBOMB! Get ready. 3 days". The music video shows different couples fighting and arguing but at the same time they hug and kiss.[5] The music video premiered on 22 June and was directed by Emil Nava.[6]
With the release of the music video, Lo released: #weareatimebomb and launched its website.[7] People all over the world can stream the music video at the "weareatimebomb"'s website with other fans universally.
Synopsis
Tove Lo appears in the middle while the couples (from varied age, ethnicity and sexual orientation) fight, push, and grab each other. Midway of the video, Tove Lo dances around with black strips and incorporates the same interactions of the couples with a man. When the songs is at its bridge, Lo starts releasing emotions out by moving with immense power, while appearing completely naked on the sand.[8]
