Timmins/Porcupine Lake Water Aerodrome, (TC LID: CPW5), is a water aerodrome located adjacent to Timmins, Ontario, Canada on Lake Porcupine.
Tenants
The aerodrome's only tenant is Ratcliff Aircraft Limited (services float planes since 1985).[2] The company owns the hangar and parking facilities.
A wooden ramp allows floatplanes to dock and passengers to disembark. Additional floatplanes can be stored on the grass next to the dock.
On December 7th, 2015, a fire destroyed the hangar, along with several airplanes and equipment in the facility for winter storage. [3]
Transportation
The aerodrome is located on Lakeview Drive between Bruce and Golden Avenues. There is limited to no parking at the aerodrome (spaces for Ratcliff and clients only at foot of Golden Avenue).
