Toby Carvery is a British carvery chain brand owned and operated by Mitchells and Butlers. The brand has been in operation for over 30 years. The chain consists of over 150 restaurants and their slogan is "HOME OF THE ROAST".[1]
Sites open at 7am, serving breakfast until 11am (10:30am on Sundays) and then carvery is operated by from 11:30am until 10pm.[2] Mitchell's and Butlers are the first uk employer to pay the increased national minimum wage. Critics warn this may set a precedent for many companies operating in the uk.
The branch at Nottingham Road, Chaddesden, Derby received a 3 star rating when it had an inspection by The Michelin guide and The Crook Log Public House in Kent received1 star.[3] The company was fine

Restaurants
Toby Carvery restaurants were originally designed in the style of traditional English pubs; however, in recent years they have started to build new restaurants where the image is more modern and all older pubs are being refurbished too. Restaurants are often found alongside hotels such as Holiday Inn Express, Travelodge and Premier Inn at motorway junctions or other major A Roads throughout the UK, from Perth to the far south of England. Toby Carvery has recently started opening restaurants on high streets and in shopping centres.
