Tori Black (born Michelle Chapman;[2][3] born August 26, 1988)[1][2] is an American pornographic actress.[4] In 2010, she was named by Loaded magazine as the most facially attractive female performer in the industry.[5]

Early life

Black was born in Seattle, Washington.[6]

Career

Black started her career at age 18 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was on a summer vacation while attending college. At her parents' insistence on getting a job, Black saw an advertisement for an adult talent agency and sent in her pictures. The agency accepted and, after considering their offer, Black accepted and returned to the agency a week later.[7] Black's first scene was a solo shaving video for The Score Group, which was filmed in 2007.[8] She was the Penthouse Pet of the Month for December 2008.[9] She appeared in her first anal sex scene in the 2009 movie Interactive Sex with Tori Black, with her first non-POV anal taking place in Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy, also 2009.[10][11] She partook in her first DP scene in the 2010 sequel Tori Black is Pretty Filthy 2.[12]

Black is the first person in history to win two AVN Female Performer of the Year Awards, winning back-to-back years in 2010 & 2011.[13] She also won the 2010 & 2011 XRCO Award for Female Performer of the Year.[14][15] In 2010, she was named by Maxim as one of the 12 top female stars in porn[16] and in 2011 was named by CNBC as one of the 12 most popular stars in porn. CNBC noted her role as Catwoman in Vivid Entertainment's Batman XXX: A Porn Parody, as well as her 2010 wins by AVN and XBIZ and 2011 AVN win and XBIZ nomination as Female Performer of the Year.[17]

Black had a guest starring role in episode 3, "Gem and Loan", of season 2 of the Showtime series Ray Donovan where she played porn star Lexi Steele.[18] She also appeared in the film L.A. Slasher.

Director

Black made her directorial debut with a video for Elegant Angels website featuring their Girl of the Month for June 2014, Alina Li.[19]

Personal life

On December 16, 2011, Black announced on her official website that she had given birth to a baby boy on October 14 by her fiancé Lyndell Anderson.[20][21] In January 2012, Black and her fiance were arrested for domestic battery after getting into an altercation in a Las Vegas hotel.[2][22] Black later released a statement to AVN explaining that the altercation was the result of her intoxication after a night of partying.[23] On February 6, 2013, Black announced on her official website that she was four months pregnant with her second child.[24]

Black has stated in an interview that she finds it difficult to find meaningful personal relationship while working in the industry.[25]
