Travels is the Pat Metheny Group's first live album, released in 1983. The album consists of two CDs worth of live material recorded in July, October and November 1982, at Philadelphia, Dallas, Sacramento, Hartford and Nacogdoches. Along with Pat Metheny, the album features Lyle Mays, Steve Rodby, Dan Gottlieb and the influence of "special guest" Nana Vasconcelos is noticeably evident on the group's music. The album won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Fusion Performance in 1983.
