Tresivio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) northeast of Milan and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) east of Sondrio. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,000 and an area of 15.0 square kilometres (5.8 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Tresivio contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Acqua and Centro.
Tresivio borders the following municipalities: Montagna in Valtellina, Piateda, Poggiridenti, Ponte in Valtellina.
