Trichodinidae is a family of ciliates of the order Mobilida, class Oligohymenophorea. The representatives of the family are endoparasites (sometimes mentioned as endocommensals) of fish, and rarely of aquatic invertebrates. They are located mainly on the gills and skin of fish.
