Tsarevna

A tsarevna. Painting by Vasily Surikov, 19th century

Tsarevna (Царевна) was the daughter of a Tsar[1][2] of Russia before the 18th century. The name is meant as a daughter of a Tsar, or as a wife of a Tsarevich.[3]

All of them were unmarried, except for the daughters of Ivan V, who were born in the late 17th century, and grew old in convents or in the Terem Palace.
