Tuen Mun Sports Association (Chinese: 屯門體育會, also known as Tuen Mun) is a Hong Kong First Division League football club based in Tuen Mun District, Hong Kong. Tuen Mun was promoted to the Hong Kong First Division League for the 2010–11 season after confirmation by the Hong Kong Football Association on June 3, 2010. During the 2011–2012 season, Tuen Mun appointed Serbian Dejan Antonic as the new head coach of their football team.
History
2012–13 season
Tuen Mun began the 2012–13 season with an impressive start. After the sixth round, they climbed to third in the league table. On 30 October 2012, a Tuen Mun spokesperson said the club was facing financial problems due to the divestment of president Chan Keung. Various key players, including Li Haiqiang, Yip Tsz Chun, Ling Cong and all 4 foreign players, as well as the whole coaching team, were proposed to be released by the club. Two weeks later, the board of Tuen Mun announced that the financial problem of the club had been solved. As a result, all players and coaches remained with the club. Tuen Mun finished third in the 2012–13 season.[1]
Ground
Tuen Mun use the Tuen Mun Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground as their home stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 2,200.
