UAE Division 1 Group A الدرجة الأولى is the second tier of football league competition in the United Arab Emirates.[1]
As of 2011/12 the league features 8 sides who play each other three times for a total of 21 games each. The top two sides gain promotion to the Pro-League and the bottom team is relegated to the UAE Division 1 Group B.[2]
