Ugly/Heartless is the first full-length from the Houston band The Jonbenet. It was released on August 8, 2006 by Pluto Records. The album was recorded live in downtown Houston at Clark's / Johnny Killed Rock N' Roll Studios by Chris Ryan & Eric Faucette.

• The vinyl version of Ugly/Heartless was released on vinyl by Team Science Records
• The album's cover is a photo taken by Dann Miller of the floor in their practice space.
• The video for "Why We're Dead" was filmed to re-enact the recording of the album. All positions are accurate and the band even re-recorded the track live again for the video.
• Austin band At All Cost released a song entitled "Eating Lightning Pt. III" on their album Circle of Demons. It keeps the theme of touring and is about their travels with The Jonbenét.

Song information

• The title "Love Is A Dog From Hell" was taken from a 1977 Bukowski book.
