Ultimate Boney M. – Long Versions & Rarities, Volume 1 is the first of a series of Boney M. releases, gathering the original 12" versions, non-album tracks and alternate versions of the group's recordings. Volume 1 sums up the group's most successful period, the years 1976-1980 and features 12 tracks of which six have never been available on CD before. The disc omits the 12" version of "Rasputin" which was included on Rivers Of Babylon (A Best Of Collection) (2008).
