Uttana Shishosana
Uttana shishosana or Extended Puppy Pose[1] is an asana.
Description
It is a forward bend which resembles balasana (child's pose) and is used to reduce stress and tension.
Benefits
Stretches the spine and shoulders and reduces stress and tension.
Preparatory asanas
Adho mukha svanasana (downward-facing dog) or virasana (hero pose) are the preparatory asanas for Extended Puppy Pose.
