A legislative assembly election will be held in 2017 for the 70 seats of the Vidhan Sabha in the state of Uttarakhand in India. The dates of the election are yet to be announced, as of November 2016. In the previous election in 2012, the Indian National Congress won a majority and formed government with the help of PDF in the leadership of Vijay Bahuguna.

Schedule

Uttarakhand Assembly Election Schedule 2017 would be Announced by November 2016 and Elections should take place by January 2016. Previous assembly polls, all 70 ACs went to polls on the same day.
