Vacone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Rome and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Rieti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 264 and an area of 9.1 square kilometres (3.5 sq mi).[1]
Vacone borders the following municipalities: Calvi dell'Umbria, Configni, Cottanello, Montasola, Torri in Sabina.
