Collevecchio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) north of Rome and 45 kilometres (28 mi) of Rieti. It is part of upper Sabina, between the Tiber River valley and the Monti Sabini.
Collevecchio borders the following municipalities: Civita Castellana (VT), Magliano Sabina, Montebuono, Ponzano Romano (RM), Stimigliano, Tarano. The frazione of Poggio Sommavilla is home to an archaeological area with remains and a necropolis.
The economy is ased on agriculture (olive, wine) and animal husbandry (cattle and goats).
