Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) is located in Pitampura, New Delhi, India, which grants the degrees of Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC), Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA),Masters of Computer Application (MCA) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (LLB). It is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University[1] and recognised by the Bar Council of India.[2] Admission to VIPS is strictly through the CET conducted by Guru Gobindsingh Indraprastha university. Vivekananda institute of professional studies is emerged as a leading institution in GGSIPU. VIPS is actively involved in organising annual law fest namely as 'Gravity' where many colleges participate in various activities. College also has a online learning portal where students are encouraged to study outside the classroom or college. Vivekananda institute of professional studies also has a good placement records. The institution has a separate placement cell run by the faculty members. Vivekananda law school (VLS), VIPS organised International Moot Court Competition,IMC in 2014 which got highly successful and was supported by many legal organisations. Other than IMC, many fests are organised by the various departments of VIPS.

History

The Institute was established in the year 1998 and registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. It was founded by the Strength India Educational Society in the year 2000.
