Volksbeat is the fifteenth (thirteenth solo) studio album[1][2][3][4][5] by Nina Hagen, released on November 11, 2011 in Germany. Right after the release, Nina Hagen embarked on a promotional tour all around Europe.[6] This album follows the Jesus-oriented theme of her previous album Personal Jesus as well as dealing with civil rights, anti-establishment, anti-war and anti-nuclear power icons and movements.[7]
