KNKC-LD is a low-powered television station that is licensed to and serving Lubbock, Texas. It is owned by DTV America Corporation, and is an affiliate of Estrella TV.[1] It's sister station is fellow Estrella TV affiliate KLKW-LD in Amarillo.
History
KNKC-LD’s application dates back to 2011 under the call sign K29KC-D. The station changed to their current call sign of KNKC-LD in 2013. They were on the air by January 2014.
Programming
Estrella TV is the station’s primary affiliation on their main channel on 29-1. Channel 29-2 carries Doctor TV, a healthy lifestyle network. In 2015, a third subchannel was launched to carry the Sonlife Broadcasting Network. In December 2015, GetTV replaced DrTV on the second subchannel.
