Walewice [valɛˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Torzym, within Sulęcin County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) east of Torzym, 14 km (9 mi) south of Sulęcin, 45 km (28 mi) south of Gorzów Wielkopolski, and 50 km (31 mi) north-west of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
