Wallace Fortuna dos Santos (born October 14, 1994), known as simply Wallace, is a Brazilian footballer who currently plays for Ligue 1 club Monaco as a defender, on loan from Portuguese side Braga.[1]

Club career

A youth product of Cruzeiro, Wallace caused great stir when Gestifute paid €9.5M to sign him from Cruzeiro in early July 2014.[2] Although his economic rights owned by Gestifute, Braga set a release clause at €40M.[3]

On 21 August 2014, without ever playing for Braga, he was loaned to AS Monaco, in a loan deal set by Jorge Mendes.[4]

International career

Wallace represented the Brazil U-20 at the 2013 and 2014 edition's of the Toulon Tournament.[5][6]
