Wawelno [vaˈvɛlnɔ](German Bowallno, Walldorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Komprachcice, within Opole County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Komprachcice and 13 km (8 mi) west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has an approximate population of 1,200.
