Osiny [ɔˈɕinɨ] (German Rothhaus) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Komprachcice, within Opole County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Komprachcice and 7 km (4 mi) west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 419.
