White Cat Black Cat (traditional Chinese: 白貓黑貓; simplified Chinese: 白猫黑猫; pinyin: Báimāo Hēimāo; Jyutping: baak6 maau1 hak1 maau1) is a Hong Kong children's comic book series by Fong She-mei (方舒眉) and Ma Sing-yuen (a.k.a. Ma-long), a wife and husband team.[1] Fong is the writer and Ma is the illustrator.[2]

The main characters are a white cat named Q Boy (C: Q小子, P: Q-xiǎozǐ, J: Q-siu2 zi2) and a black cat scholar named Doctor A (T: A博士, P: A-bóshì, J: A-bok3 si6). Q Boy asks questions and Doctor A, who is the uncle of Q Boy has answers. Their names refer to the English words "question" and "answer". The series was established in 2004.[3]
