White Sands is a summer village in Alberta, Canada. It is located on the southeast shore of Buffalo Lake, northwest from the Town of Stettler and east of the Summer Village of Rochon Sands and Rochon Sands Provincial Park.

The summer village is within the municipal boundaries of the County of Stettler No. 6.[3]

Demographics

In the 2011 Census, the Summer Village of White Sands had a population of 91 living in 44 of its 217 total dwellings, a -24.2% change from its 2006 population of 120. With a land area of 1.6 km2 (0.62 sq mi), it had a population density of 56.9/km2 (147.3/sq mi) in 2011.[2]

In 2006, White Sands had a population of 120 living in 212 dwellings, a 64.4% increase from 2001. The summer village has a land area of 1.60 km2 (0.62 sq mi) and a population density of 75.2/km2 (195/sq mi).[4]
