William James Green (1834 11 January 1876) was an English cricketer. Green's batting style is unknown. He was born at Gravesend, Kent.

Green made his first-class debut for Kent against Sussex in 1856. He made two further first-class appearances for the county, in 1859 against Middlesex and in 1861 against Cambridgeshire.[1] In his three first-class matches, he scored 17 runs at an average of 3.40, with a high score of 12.[2]

He died at the town of his birth on 11 January 1876.
