William Green (1817 – 25 November 1870) was an English cricketer. Green's batting style is unknown. He was born at Sevenoaks, Kent.
Green made two first-class appearances for Kent against England at White Hart Field in 1841, and Sussex at Beverley Ground, Canterbury in 1842.[1] Against England, Green scored 16 runs in Kent's first-innings, before being dismissed by Francis Fenner. Kent won the match by an innings and 10 runs.[2] Against Sussex, he was dismissed for a duck by William Lillywhite, while in their second-innings he ended Kent's innings unbeaten on 0, with Kent winning the match by 4 runs.[3] These were his only major appearances for Kent.
He died at Gravesend, Kent on 25 November 1870.
