Wiltshire County Council election, 2005
Elections to Wiltshire County Council were held on 5 May 2005. The whole council was up for election and the Conservatives held onto control.
Most electoral divisions had boundary changes, and several were new, including three new two-member divisions, in Salisbury and Trowbridge.
As with other county elections in England, these local elections in Wiltshire took place on the same day as the United Kingdom general election, 2005. The previous Wiltshire Council election, 2001, had also coincided with the 2001 general election.
