Woodloch is a town in Montgomery County, Texas, United States. The population was 207 at the 2010 census. As of 2009, the current mayor is Diane Lincoln.
Geography
Woodloch is located at 30°13′5″N 95°24′37″W / 30.21806°N 95.41028°W (30.217963, -95.410255).[3]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2), all of it land.
Woodloch is a small bedroom community which incorporated in 1974. It is a Type B, General Law municipality, with a Mayor, five Aldermen, a Public Works Director and a City Secretary. The council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month, 7:00 PM at City Hall. All administrative and facility offices are housed in the City Hall building located at 2620 North Woodloch Drive. The mailing address is: P.O. Box 1379, Conroe, TX 77305-1379. Office hours are Mon-Tue-Wed 9:00am–1:00pm, and on the 15th of every month 9:00am–5:00pm.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 247 people, 75 households, and 69 families residing in the town. The population density was 2,829.6 people per square mile (1,059.6/km²). There were 76 housing units at an average density of 870.7 per square mile (326.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 94.33% White, 4.05% from other races, and 1.62% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 8.91% of the population.
There were 75 households out of which 41.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 78.7% were married couples living together, 10.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 8.0% were non-families. 5.3% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.29 and the average family size was 3.36.
In the town the population was spread out with 27.5% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 32.8% from 25 to 44, 25.9% from 45 to 64, and 6.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 84.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.5 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $71,250, and the median income for a family was $71,250. Males had a median income of $49,583 versus $25,208 for females. The per capita income for the town was $22,752. None of the population or families were below the poverty line.
Education
Woodloch is served by the Conroe Independent School District and the North Harris Montgomery Community College District. Students in Woodloch are zoned to Houser Elementary, Vogel Intermediate, Gerald Irons Junior High, and Oak Ridge High School.
