Wuling District (simplified Chinese: 武陵区; traditional Chinese: 武陵區; pinyin: Wǔlíng Qū) is one of two urban districts of Changde, Hunan province, China. The seat of government for Changde City, Wuling hosts the majority of the city's schools, restaurants, high rises as well as Changde's main retail precinct, 'Buxingjie' (Chinese: 步行街; literally: "Walking St"). The majority of the district lies on the northern (left) bank of the Yuan River, with a small section on the opposite bank.
A Sheraton Hotel will open in Wuling in July 2014.[2]
