Li County, or Lixian (simplified Chinese: 澧县; traditional Chinese: 澧縣; pinyin: Lǐ Xiàn), is under the administration of Changde, Hunan province, China. It is located in the northern part of Changde City and borders the Hubei prefecture-level city of Jingzhou to the north.
Administration
The county executive, legislature and judiciary are in Liyang Town (澧阳镇), together with the CPC and PSB branches.
Special Status
Lixian is the seat of an Apostolic Prefecture in the consideration of the Roman Catholic Church; this status is unrecognised in the organisational structure of Sinican Catholicism promulgated by the Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association.
